The Faculty of Basic Sciences was established by Prof. Dr.  Phan Van Hap in March 1995. The faculty of Basic Sciences was established with the goal of teaching, equipping students with the general knowledge.

II . ABOUT FACULTY OF BASIC SCIENCES

The Faculty of Basic Sciences was established by Prof. Dr.  Phan Van Hap in March 1995. The faculty of Basic Sciences was established with the goal of teaching, equipping students with the general knowledge.

The Faculty gathers many professors, doctors, intensive masters specialized in basic sciences; 80% of staffs in the faculty have master degree or higher. This Faculty includes professional groups: Mathematics - Science , Foreign Languages, Social Studies, Physical Education .

In addition to teaching duties for students, the faculty of Basic Sciences is in charge of:

- Training for Olympic teams of HDIU

- Guiding fellows, graduate students of other universities .
