1. Overview

1.1 Mental Attitude Requirements

1.2 Soft skills Requirements

*Regular skill: Presentation, report writing and foreign language skills.

*Analytical skill: Collecting database, presenting, researching, analyzing and evaluating the results, finding out the causes and proposing solutions to handle situations.

*Individual and teamwork skill: Time management, critical thinking, Interaction, listening, negotiaton skills.

1.3. The standard output of Finance and Banking

* Having the knowledge about general laws and economics laws.

* Understanding the status and the trend of economy in general.

* Having the deep understanding about finance, currency, accounting, banking, sales…

* Having the general knowledge about Business Administration, commercial banks, financial organizations, investment environment, financial plan, marketing…

* Having the knowledge about economic research, making use of the indicators, quantification and statistics to assess the real situation.

Training: Total number of students who graduated in Finance - Banking is 2637. Most of students get a stable job at bank and other corporations. There were 2 students winningannually awards for scientific research of the Ministry of education and training, they are Pham Huy Ngoc (3^rd prize in 2007 – 2008); Nguyen Thanh Chung(3^rd prize in 2008-2009)

5. Activities

Faculty has launched many activities and organized some programs for students to bring them closer and provide a chance to study such as 20/11 Celebration: Art perfomance, soft skills program named "Road to be a successful entrepreneurship”, “start-up for students” program, Volunteering at Bo De Pagoda, mid-autumn in Hoa Binh children village, blood donation… Many students have won the scholarships and been admitted to Party because of good academic results.
