Mr. Maehara Takuya, the director of the International Institute of East Japan and the president of Tomotech Corporation- which makes employment assistance for Vietnam trainees to work in Japan; Mr. Hiroyuki Sunayama – professor at International Institute of East Japan; and Mr. Tran Khac Hung – the head of the advisory board for the Board of Directors of HDIU and all the staffs of the university are present at the signing ceremony.

The signing ceremony of agreement on curriculum transfer

In order to help students after graduation to be able to work in Japanese companies or study in Japan, HDIU has co-operated with International Institute of East Japan to do training in Japanese and professional skills for students

At the signing ceremony, the two sides expressed their desire for friendship and cooperation, mutual support and development. The two sides agreed important contents to promote cooperation and bilateral development assistance including:

International Institute of East Japan will transfer curriculum of Japanese for HDIU to help HDIU’s students learn Japanese right from the first year and reach the Japanese level N2 or N3 after graduation. For students of HDIU who wish to study masters, the Japanese partners will support the introduction of appropriate university for students in Japan with many attractive scholarship programs.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Tran Khac Hung – Advisor for the Managing Board of HDIU said: "Japan is a country not only with economic growth, but also with the highest wages level in the world. Besides, the current relation between Vietnam and Japan is in the warmest period, so why we do not create opportunities for students to study and work in this wonderful environment. Stemming from that thought, I have decided to cooperate with the International Institute of East Japan to facilitate our students with the best curriculum and employment opportunities after graduation"

Founded in 1994, HDIU has demonstrated rapid integration in practices of modern education and promoted the exploitation of the full potential of people and society in education.

This partnership is seen as a great opportunity for students who have studtied at the university to have access to modern training programs and career opportunities because Japan are in the great demand of  young human resources with high skills and qualities.

Accordingly, Mr. Maehara Takuya - Director of the International Institute of East Japan also said: "At present, Japan's population is aging while the economy has positive growth, which means that Japan are very understaffed. Thus, this collaboration not only makes sense as a bridge between two countries Vietnam – Japan which supports jobs for Vietnamese students with high wages at Japanese companies bu also provides Japan with good human resources ".

The signing ceremony took place in the solemn atmosphere and marked the first milestone in the process of good and long – term cooperation between HDIU and International Instituteo of East Japan in the international training

Dong Do University (HDIU), internationally called Hanoi Dong Do International University, was established on October 3rd 1994 by Decision No. 534/TTg of the Prime Minister. HDIU is one of the first non-public universities established according to the guidelines of education socialization of the State and Party

During 20 years of development, HDIU has always been rated as one of the non-public universities with the good quality training. In 2013, HDIU was presented with the award Certificate of Merit for outstanding tasks completed in 2012-2013 " and " Certificate of Merit for outstanding labor collective " by the Minister of Education and Training.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of date of establishment ( 10/03/1994 - 10/03/2014 ), HDIU is expected to organize the celebration with the presence of numerous officials, faculties, staffs and students working and studying at HDIU.
